The Draugr is a human, who's DNA is incompatible with the Hyper-evolution virus, and infected by the virus.

Gameplay

Draugr are among the most common enemies, along with Wargs, but do not appear in Chapter 2. Draugr are quite durable, move very slowly, and are vulnerable to headshots. There are three main types of Draugr, unarmed, armed, and suicidal. Unarmed Draugr are only threatening in close quarters and large numbers. Armed Draugr, however, can be quite dangerous, as they each wield an MG 42, although they fire the weapon with poor accuracy. The most dangerous are suicidal Draugr, as they explode their entire bodies, potentially dealing fatal damage. All Draugr have 3,500 HP on Veteran difficulty and are Unarmored with the exception of Armed Draugr, which have Heavily-Armored torsos. On Professional difficulty, the HP value skyrockets to 8,700. If shot in the chest (with the exception of Armed Draugr), a Draugr receives quadruple damage, but a headshot at eye-level will kill any Draugr instantly, and as such, by far the most effectively strategy to deal with any Draugr is to aim for its head.

Unarmed

• Claw - The Draugr slashes the player's character with its claws, dealing moderate damage.

Armed

• Fire - The Draugr fires its MG 42 wildly, dealing very heavy damage.
• Claw - The Draugr slashes the player's character with the claws of its free hand, dealing moderate damage.
• Club - The Draugr swings its Machine Gun at the player's character, dealing moderate damage.

Suicidal

• Suicidal Explosion - The Draugr detonates its entire body, releasing highly corrosive acid in all directions. If the player character is caught within the center of the explosion, he/she will die instantly.
