In Resident Evil: Code Genesis, you must do battle with various bosses; human mutations and creatures alike. Depending on the game's difficulty modes, the bosses may or may not change behavior, which makes the game change comparatively.

BOSS FIGHT 1: G-ADULT "FRANK" Edit

Frank Head

Date of
creation:
2014
Created via:G-virus Injection
Based:Human
Height:8 feet
Length:n/a
Purpose:Unknown
Status:Inactive

Weak Point: Head

Major Weak Point: Giant Eyeball and pustules on left portion of back.

G-Adult (Frank) has 4 attacks:

  • 1. Big Arm Strike: G Adult Frank tends to hold its left arm back a few seconds and then hits the characters with its other fist. Aim toward the upper right portion of its body and shoot there in order to hit its eyeball on its body to cancel this attack when it is about to hit. Use the shotgun and time the shot to hit it right as it starts to swing-the spread will hit its eyeball and cause him to recoil.
  • 2. Grab and Toss: G Adult Frank grabs the characters and holds them below its head as saliva drips onto them. The saliva is extremely toxic and can hurt you in mere seconds, taking damage rapidly depending on the difficulty setting. Shoot its head while it drips saliva to cancel the attack. If the attack is not canceled then G Adult will toss the characters and damage them with its drool at the very same time. This attack is automatic and can cause a significant amount of damage. The characters can't escape the grab portion so cancel it quickly when you have the chance.
  • 3. Horizontal Rage swings: When he gets low on health he will swing his arms repeatedly in a wild, uncontrollable manner and the key to catching this is he will immediately groan out loudly. Back away out of range if he does this.
  • 4. Tail Stab: G Adult Frank holds up its big arm and tries to stab the player with a black barb located on a segmented tail between its legs. A random dodge command will appear while it holds up its arms. Input the dodge command and your player will release themselves and jump behind the G Adult where it's major weak point (the giant eyeball) is exposed. If you fail to press the appropriate button commands, it will stab you with the barb of its tail, resulting in instant death.

LOCATION PATTERN:

G Adult (Frank) cannot follow you to these 3 locations:

  • 1. Climb to the 2nd floor or roof of the police station.
  • 2. Move between the two riot vehicles and stay in the middle. The creature can still perform horizontal swings in rare cases, and if you're standing near him he will still hit you.
  • 3. On top of the riot vehicles, and on the platform to the left of them.

STRATEGY

It will start out by trying to hit the characters with its big left arm. Whenever it moves its left arm back, aim at the top portion of its chest and fire your handgun or sub-machine gun or time a shot to right before it swings with its arm. The shot has to hit it's eyeball on its side in order to cancel the attack if he is too close to avoid. It's very hard to actually tell what you're hitting when you cancel the attack because of how quickly he moves despite his huge size, but you should see a short glimpse of the body eyeball as the attack is canceled. Sometimes it is also good to try and maneuver around it.

The shotgun is really the best way to cancel the attack because its spread will hit the eyeball with little effort in aiming. G Adult will grab the characters after the first attack and attempt to use its tail to result in instant death. Shoot G Adult directly in the head while it holds the player. G Adult will toss the player through the window of the building and out into the parking lot. When you start to recover, the wall will break out and G Adult will come charging out, swinging its arms with a loud roar. He's got a fair amount of health so you'll want to use everything on him that you've possibly got at this point. Grenades works best due to his slow movements, followed by explosive gasoline drums lining the walls, and lastly Shotgun blasts to his head after which you can perform a melee attack. Alternatively you can empty the Machine Gun in his head and once again use melee attacks. Resort to the handgun only when you're out of options as it does little damage.

Extra Information:

G Adult Frank was made from one of Rose's many coworkers she is familiar with due to the name tag still attached to its tattered clothes.

SEMI BOSS: REAPER X Edit

Reaper X

Date of
creation:
2012
Created via:Testing Experiment
Based:Human/Roach
Height:7 feet
Length:n/a
Purpose:Experimental
Status:Active

Weak Point: Head

Major Weak Point: Fleshy bulbs on its body.

The Reaper X has 3 attacks:

  • 1. Impale: This is an instant death attack for the players, as it separates your head from your body. Avoid it if you can by keeping your distance.
  • 2. Blade Slash: This attack will not separate your characters head from their body but will instead put the character into immediate Dying status. This will require immediate action from your partner.
  • 3. Claw Madness: After downing him once he'll get back up and start going into a frenzy, swinging his blade arms all around him. Do NOT, I repeat do NOT get even close to him or he'll instantly send you into dying status! At this point he doesn't have a lot of health left, so pump a little more lead in his sorry ass to make him stay down for good.

Note: The Reaper X will only revive when the game is set in a Difficulty Level of 7 or higher. This corresponds to the highest setting of Normal, while on Veteran and Professional, you're always bothered by revivals.

STRATEGY

Needless to say it's just best to not get close to him, and if you do, try not to get stuck in front of him or you'll be dead meat. He can take a lot of damage and is backed up with a new wave of 10+ Reaper X mutations along with it. Use flame rounds from the Grenade Launcher to slow him down. If you can, use the rifle to aim for weak spots on his body and keep your distance. However, be extremely careful with using the rifle as it has a reload time of nearly a second. He isn't a slow boss and if he manages to get a hit on you or your comrades it'll be game over, so it's better to be safe than sorry and just keep your distance. Use grenades as well to make things easier.

Extra Information:

The Reaper X were designed by Alex based off of the "accidents" of the Reaper in Kijuju. Their appearances and designs were partially inspired by the creature from The Fly.

BOSS FIGHT 2: ALPHA TYRANTEdit

ALPHA/James Pierce

Date of
creation:
1994
Created via:Experimental test subject
Based:Human
Height:8 feet
Length:n/a
Purpose:To destroy all who fight it.
Status:Terminated

Weak Point: Head

Major Weak Point: Fleshy area on the spines where the blade arm grows.

Alpha Tyrant has 8 attacks:

  • 1. Claw Slash: The boss will set foot toward you and swipe with its large claw. This is only done when you are standing next to him.
  • 2. Drop Kick Leap: The boss prepares to leap out toward you, viciously striking with both of its feet. Dodgeable.
  • 3. Spinning Whirlwind: The Tyrant perform a strike while aerial. This is dodgeable.
  • 4. Rubble Smash: If you attempt to hide behind a crate for too long, the Tyrant will smash and destroy it, hurting you in the process. It is a dodgeable attack.
  • 5. Rocket Toss: If you fire a rocket too late (after the Tyrant stands) he can grab it with his other arm and toss it back at you. Blast the rocket from the air to avoid taking damage.
  • 6. Charge Ram: Alpha Tyrant rushes towards you in an attempt to ram you or your partner. This can be avoided by simply running to the side or pushing the appropriate dodge sequence.
  • 7. Claw Dive: He will run along the walkway and attempt to jump into the air and and fall down to stab the two players. Blast him to avoid this attack or simply run out of the way.
  • 8. Roar: More a sign of aggression than anything else, this loud roar causes a very brief stun for your characters, giving him a chance to strike.

STRATEGY

This creature requires a special strategy to defeat. You'll soon find that its body armor is too tough to crack with regular gunfire. It's weak spot is the pink flesh at the top of its clawed arm where there are spines growing. With the natural flow of things, this will be revealed when it's in the air, his back is to you or when it has just performed a leap attack. However, you'll want to get a longer time span for targeting this weak spot. There are sets of 2, 2, 3 and 3 wooden crates in the area, and one of them contains two boxes of Shotgun Ammo, a can of First Aid Spray and a Proximity Bomb. The other crate houses a Flash Grenade, Rifle Ammo and two Proximity Bombs. Those bombs can also be found in many of the crates, and they're the key to an easy victory, yet difficult to pull off given his speed.

Sometimes it will be easy to run to the other side of the docks behind the rows of ships to give him time to find you. Flash Grenades do not work, so you cannot rely on these in this battle. It is often good to place a Proximity Bomb in front of you and back away, luring the boss toward it. When he is downed, he will slouch and take a moment, breathing heavily and leaning on his claw which will easily expose the fleshy bulb.

Extra Information:

The Alpha Tyrant was created from Rose's Father, James Pierce.

BOSS FIGHT 3: KARLEdit

Karl Taylor

Date of
creation:
1970's
Created via:Wesker Child
Based:Human
Height:4 feet Ten Inches
Length:n/a
Purpose:Wesker Offspring
Status:Terminated

Weak Point: Legs

Major Weak Point: Head

Karl has 7 attacks:

  • 1. Foot Crush: Karl moves over to Jill and tries to crush her with his clawed, sweaty, dirty foot. It is possible to dodge this attack; but if you want to do damage, instead you'll need to counter by shooting him in the head/foot as much as possible, causing him to stagger.
  • 2. Punch: This attack requires that he is always near you. So you can simply shoot him when he tries to do so.
  • 3. Knock Down: Karl will run toward Jill and attempt to knock her down with an elbow to her back. Usually, this is noticed when he chuckles.
  • 4. Object Toss: Karl will toss objects at Jill that can cause damage given their size.
  • 5. Wolf Call: Karl will whistle for his dogs to attack Jill. If you want to avoid fighting them, sometimes you can shoot the whistle from his hand. He will attempt to go for it again, so fighting the dogs can sometimes be unavoidable if you cannot keep him from performing this move.
  • 6. Mutilate: Karl can sometimes jump onto Jill and start brutally slashing at her with his claws. Shake the analogue stick repeatedly to kick him off or he will rapidly deplete your health with this strong (and annoying) attack.
  • 7. Ram: This attack can not be avoided as Karl will run toward Jill with no form of a warning. He can tackle into her with his head lowered and she will slam into the wall. Shake the analogue stick to recover. (This move is similar to Wesker's move from Lost in Nightmares).

STRATEGY

Surprisingly, Karl is a very fast boss. Immediately shoot for his hand or he will blow a whistle and call for his rabid pack of dogs to try and make the fight more difficult. He will laugh at your player, hiding and attacking in the dark like a little brat. If you continue to shoot his head and legs, he will fall like any old zombie. The dogs may cause trouble because they can swarm and overwhelm you if you do not take them out first. This is simple with a few shots of a handgun.

Extra Information:

Karl is one of the few Wesker flaws who survived his injections. He is driven mad by them and consumes human flesh.

BOSS FIGHT 4: VANEKEdit

Harry Vanek

Date of
creation:
2014
Created via:Combat
Based:Human
Height:6 Feet
Length:n/a
Purpose:Battle Prototype
Status:Terminated

Weak Point: Head

Major Weak Point: Shoulder blob.

Vanek has 6 attacks:

  • 1. Sludge Bomb: Vanek can vomit a nasty blob of black sludge and it can disorient your player or your partner. Shake the analogue stick to break free from the fumes.
  • 2. Seize and Toss: Vanek will grab you or your partner with his claws and toss you into the ground, doing heavy damage. This attack can be avoided by keeping your distance from him. In rare instances, he can do this if you stand too close behind him.
  • 3. Claw Slap: Sometimes Vanek will slap the player with his massive arm and it will knock you back. It can become a nuisance.
  • 4. Bite: Vanek can get aggravated and if he is on too low of health, will start to bite, trying to crush you with his large fangs. This is an instant-death attack, but it can be dodged as he tries to get close enough to grab you.
  • 5. Charge: Vanek can charge right for you in a frenzy. This attack can be dodged.
  • 6. Impale: If Vanek grabs you and he is low on health, wiggle free or he will impale you with his claws a la Saddler, resulting in an instant kill.

STRATEGY

  • Phase 1:

Vanek will laugh loudly, utter a stupid phrase before he'll try to lunge at you with his arm. He'll run on either side of the airfield and attempt to strike you with airplane parts by tossing them at you or also, he will try to finish you off by grabbing you for instant kills. If you are low on health, there is a First Aid Spray can located underneath one of the planes.

  • Phase 2:

Vanek has almost completely mutated into a G-like creature that is faster and stronger than before. You must dodge his claws and his attacks or you are done for. After he is near death, his chest will expose itself and he will be finished.

Extra Information:

An Ex-War Hero, Vanek is simply Alex's attack dog and is sent for Rose and the others. Though his anger and jealousy causes him to desire only to kill them.

BOSS FIGHT 5: ALLIGATOREdit

Alligator

Date of
creation:
2014
Created via:t virus infection
Based:Alligator
Height:n/a
Length:n/a
Purpose:Accidental
Status:Terminated

Weak Point: Eyes

Major Weak Point: Mouth

Alligator has 3 attacks:

  • 1. Bite: The alligator will shake its head and roar, then move toward the characters with its mouth open and try to bite them which can put you into dying status. Shoot the inside of his mouth to cancel this attack. He often performs this attack after swimming about in the river.
  • 2. Head Ram: Once he chases Sheva and Josh back to the start of the river's edge, he will leap out of the water and dash toward you. A random button dodge sequence will appear in order to avoid this.
  • 3. Corner Bite: After dodging, the alligator will not directly follow you or your partner. Sometimes he will swing his head back and try to bite from the side in a very quick and almost undodgeable maneuver. Shoot him in the mouth to cancel it out.

STRATEGY

The alligator will roar and bang the ground with his head and cause waves of water to splash through the air. While this does no damage, it will cause some kind of problem with seeing its next move, which comes immediately. It is best to step back as far as you can to avoid a possible bite which will kill instantly. Prepare to shoot his mouth when he opens it to cancel his deadly attacks. Most of the time, the alligator will simply roar and try to bite. The shotgun is the most effective weapon against the alligator and guarantees that it does far more damage enough to take him down than any other weapon. It is never good to reload while he recovers because sometimes he can attack during the phase.

Extra Information:

The alligator was created by accident from the guerrillas in East Zahani after they released the t-virus on the village.

BOSS FIGHT 6: MOTHMANEdit

Miles Dubois/Mothman

Date of
creation:
Late 2008
Created via:Test Subject
Based:Human/Moth
Height:n/a
Length:n/a
Purpose:Experimental
Status:Terminated

Weak Point: Head

Major Weak Point: Reddish portion that connects his human body to his moth body.

Mothman has 7 attacks:

  • 1. Acid Spit: Mothman will lean his head back and then lean forward and spit acid from his mouth. Blast his heart to cancel this attack.
  • 2. Stab: Mothman will lean his right shoulder back and then thrust it forward to try and stab your player or partner. Shoot him in the heart to cancel this attack, much like the acid spit.
  • 3. Jumping Slash: While the two characters are nearest the building, Mothman will leap into the air and then fall down and try to slash you. Shoot him in the body as he is falling. A button command for stepping closer to him in order to shoot his heart will appear after dodging.
  • 4. Explosive Barrel Toss: Mothman will jump to the perch of the building and grab barrels, tossing them at you. Shoot them before they strike to avoid taking damage.
  • 5. Three Slash Attack: Mothman will drive his three back blades in you one by one. You can simply run from him or shoot him in the heart to avoid this attack. Also, try to avoid him when he is about to do this. The hint is that he will start to shudder violently.
  • 6. Grab/Swallow: This attack is very effective and can sometimes cause instant death. Avoid getting near him.
  • 7. Moth Larvae Spawn: Mothman will start to vomit moth larvae to attack you. Unlike the stationary moth larvae, these are dangerous, but they are not much of a threat in small numbers. They can be incinerated with grenades or the launcher.

STRATEGY

This guy can be one tough little punk to down, especially in Apocalyptic mode. His only weakness is fire, so you will have to rely on your grenade launcher's Flame Rounds, any Incendiary Grenades you may have picked up or the fuel containers lining the area. He quickly swoops from side to side when in flight, but there is a noticeable pattern while even though the moves are random. He always returns to the building perch to perform his attacks.

Extra Information:

A creature born of unknown origin; the Mothman was created from a man named Miles Dubois.

BOSS FIGHT 7: DAHLIA (INCUBATOR)Edit

Dahlia Pierce/Incubator

Date of
creation:
1995
Created via:Test Subject
Based:Human/Unknown
Height:n/a
Length:n/a
Purpose:Experimental
Status:Terminated

Weak Point: Head (Portion above the jaw)

Major Weak Point: Brain (On backside)

Dahlia has 8 attacks:

  • 1. Acid vomit: While Dahlia surfaces the water and attacks on land, she can vomit acid if you stand below her. Press the on-screen button prompt to dodge this.
  • 2. Acid Spit: Dahlia looks downward and then upwards and spits acid toward the characters. Hit her in the head the moment that it starts to lower. Use the shotgun since the spread of shellfire has a greater chance of hitting her.
  • 3. Tail Spikes: Dahlia will lean her head downward then raise her tail and shoot spikes at the characters from the base of the tail. Blast her head when she moves to do this in order to cancel out the attack.
  • 4. Pounce: Dahlia leaps on top of the characters and bites them with her large jaws. Shoot her head to avoid the bite.
  • 5. Tentacle Strike: Dahlia will rear back one of her tentacles and whip it forward. Shoot the dark purple portion of her head to cancel out this attack.
  • 6. Lunge: She will swim around in the water and sometimes lunge out at you or your partner.A random dodge command must be entered to avoid this attack.
  • 7. Needle Shot: Dahlia will emerge from the water and then roar loudly. She will then hold the back of her tail up and fire needles at you and your partner. Shoot the purplish spot on Dahlia's head to cancel this attack.
  • 8. Rock Toss: Dahlia will often surface the water and throw rocks at you and your partner. During her second phase, she will also toss rocks at the players which can either be dodged or simply running to the side to avoid.

STRATEGY

  • Phase 1:

Dahlia will remain in the water for this phase, so she will also be hard to target. After the cut scene with Rose and Chris, the creature from the opening cut scene before you enter the island grounds will appear in the water. She will swim around and stay mostly out of sight. When she does surface slightly, you can shoot her weak spots such as her head or her exposed brain. The first phase of the fight is slightly difficult because she moves extremely fast and it is difficult to land a shot to cancel her attacks. The shotgun is highly recommended because of its wide spread of fire. The sub machine gun works as well, but requires you to be more precise. Dahlia's movements and actions are random, but she always moves in circles around the island at a considerably close range. There are various items lying about that can be found inside crates. The items are random, but there is always two Green Herbs located in one of the crates.

  • Phase 2:

When Dahlia has been wounded enough, she will leap from the water and shake the ground where you stand, disorienting you for a few seconds. Her head will be almost completely exposed now, revealing an inner head inside of the protective shell of her other. Her head must be shot at several times if you want to cancel most of her attacks. If you attempt to get behind her, she will swing her tail and smack you. Flame rounds and Incendiary Grenades work well, but it is Acid Rounds that seem to do the most damage.

Extra Information:

The Incubator was created from Rose's mother, Dahlia Pierce.

BOSS FIGHT 8: CERBERUS G-10Edit

Cerberus G-10

Date of
creation:
2011
Created via:Test Subject
Based:Canine
Height:n/a
Length:n/a
Purpose:Improvements to Cerberus model
Status:Active

Weak Point: Head

Major Weak Point: Mouth

Cerberus G-10 has 7 attacks:

  • 1. Wall Lunge: The Cerberus will sit on a banister nearest the left side of the wall, then the creature will suddenly leap toward you and try to slash with its claws. Press the on-screen button command to avoid the attack.
  • 2. Wall Dive: After the Wall Lunge, Cerberus will climb to the next wall and then fall down to try and pounce you. Shooting him in the head is the best way to stop his attack or from him even climbing up. A sub machine gun or shotgun works the best.
  • 3. Wall Jump: After the Wall Dive, Cerberus will be attached to a wall below the middle chamber. He will leap up and try to slash with his claws. Press the on-screen button command to dodge this attack.
  • 4. Grab and Bite: When you and your partner try to re-enter the same room that you came out from, Cerberus will drop out of sight and then appear above you, grabbing with his massive tongue. Shake the left trigger to dislodge yourself.
  • 5. Acid Spit: While Cerberus crouches over the support beams, he will foam at the mouth and spit a thick, substance at you which is easily avoidable.
  • 6. Claw Swipe: Cerberus will jump and swipe with his claws.
  • 7. Bite and Shake: Cerberus will bite down on the player and shake wildly, depleting your health rapidly. This is similar to the wolves of RE:4.

STRATEGY

The boss fight will begin with Cerberus appearing through the ventilation systems. As you make your way through the second floor, you will hear snarling sounds beneath your feet. The metal will buckle and after a brief cut scene, the creature will emerge. It can be tricky to watch Cerberus' movements, but once you get his pattern down, he will be easy to take out. Cerberus tends to circle and pace in front of you, but don't be deterred by this. What can really be a pain is his leaping into the ceiling and lashing out with his long tongue. To avoid this attack, you can simply press the on-screen command buttons.

Off to the side of the second floor cargo, there are two Green Herbs, a box of Machine Gun ammo and two Proximity Mines. When Cerberus attacks from the ceiling, you can shoot at him with a shotgun blast to topple him to the floor. A sub machine gun is good too, but a shotgun has far more chance of doing heavier damage. Once his health reaches a considerable low, he will begin to race around you in a wild, frenzied manner, slashing and biting with his claws and teeth. He will take a pause to pant heavily and that is the perfect opportunity to strike.

Extra Information:

Cerberus G-10 was created in the labs of Isle Alexandria by Alex Wesker as his personal pets. They are superior in breed and surpass all of Umbrella's previous designs.

BOSS FIGHT 9: U-10Edit

U-10

Date of
creation:
Completed in 2012
Created via:Test Subject
Based:Origins Unknown
Height:n/a
Length:n/a
Purpose:Combat Tank
Status:Terminated

Weak Point: Head

Major Weak Point: Fleshy red bulbs along its body.

U-10 has 6 attacks:

  • 1. Tentacle Punch: The most common of U-10's attacks is a rather straightforward tentacle attack. The tiny barbs can inflict heavy damage if they manage to come in contact with you. Luckily, the attack is very slow, therefore easy to avoid.
  • 2. Tentacle Swing: This attack is similar to the above attack, with the exception that this one is only used when you've moved to the second floor balcony.
  • 3. Projectiles: The U-10 can shoot out enormous, blob-like projectiles when one of its tentacles has been destroyed. When approached, the blobs can explode on impact, causing a small amount of damage. Not much of a threat and can be shot at from a distance.
  • 4. Bite: Like the pincer grab, this bite can cause an instant kill. It is usually attempted when the creature is low on health and you attempt to draw closer to it.
  • 5. Pincer Grab: If too close, the U-10 can grab a player with its claws attached to its lower body and almost crush. Fortunately, this is a dodgeable attack, but can only be avoided by pressing the appropriate commands.
  • 6. Sting: U-10 can perform a rare move that will sometimes render your character poisoned.

STRATEGY

This creature is large and despite being a stationary boss, is no less easier to kill. The tentacles that appear from the sides of the wall can become a nuisance if not taken care of first as they can smash, (in rare cases) poison or crush you. The battlefield around you is limited to the main lobby floor and the second floor hospitalbalcony because of the massive tentacles preventing your escape. The only way to access both floors is by a flimsy stairway at your left. There are no items available except for a can of First Aid Spray on the first floor beneath the balcony. The U-10 will begin by lunging forward in an attempt to reach you if you attempt to access the first floor. Staying close to the wall is usually the best way to avoid being hit. The first way to take down this creature is to shoot the tentacles emerging from the sides of the wall to make it easier to dispatch with it. Once destroyed, the U-10 will roar out and try to grab with its smaller, more useless arms. Shoot the bulbs that attach its arms to its body in order to wound it.

Once it takes significant amount of damage, it will collapse and that will give you the opportunity to shoot it in its massive bulb on its back. When killed, the creature gives out a loud screech before recoiling from the hospital walls and retreating into the bay.

Extra Information:

The U-10's origins are unknown, but it is believed to have been created on the basis of sea animals and human genetics.

BOSS FIGHT 11: JONAS G-FORM (FIRST MUTATION)Edit

Jonas Burton G Form

Date of
creation:
2014
Created via:Infection of G-virus
Based:Human
Height:n/a
Length:n/a
Purpose:Experimental
Status:Terminated

Weak Point: Head

Major Weak Point: Eye on right shoulder.

Jonas G-Form has 5 attacks:

  • 1. Right Hook: Oddly, Jonas will swing his massive arm back and slam his fist into you or your partner. A move that can topple and do heavy damage. Luckily, it has a very slow buildup, so this will give you time to move out of the way.
  • 2. Overhead Slam: Jonas will grab the ceiling above, swing and attempt to slam down upon you or your partner. This move causes heavy damage.
  • 3. Grab: Jonas will grab and attempt to choke you or your partner. Much like the Executioner's move, only he will try to crush you instead, resulting in instant death. Shake the control stick to break free from the grab.
  • 4. Debris Throw: Jonas will retreat, flee toward a wall, grab a chunk of wall and throw it at you or your partner. This can be easily dodged by the appropriate button command.
  • 5. Thrust: Jonas will bellow out a roar, reach out with his fist and slam it into a full-impale move, resulting in instant death. This is dodgeable.

STRATEGY

When the battle begins, shoot at Jonas' eye with the more appropriate weapon for this fight; a shotgun. Flame Rounds from your Grenade Launcher work just as well. Eventually, Jonas will hold his right arm back and prepare to take a swing. Shoot either his head or his right shoulder eyeball to cancel this attack. Jonas will eventually attempt to try and grab you if you move close to him. Running into the central core room will cause Jonas to give chase.

After doing significant damage to him, there will be a small cut scene where Beth will ultimately scream out Jonas' name and plead with him, causing him to pause and look in her direction. While he is distracted, you can deal heavy damage to the massive eye on his shoulder. After doing enough damage, Jonas will roar out in pain before collapsing to the floor. He will lay still for several moments before jumping up and screaming.

BOSS FIGHT 11: JONAS G-FORM (FINAL MUTATION)Edit

Weak Point: Head

Major Weak Point: Top right shoulder eye, Eye on back of body.

Jonas G-Form has 7 attacks:

  • 1. Claw Swipe: Jonas will lean back with a gurgling roar and expose his back eye before lashing forward with a slash from his left claw arm. You can shoot his eye or his head to cancel the attack. If you fail to do so, it will cause heavy damage.
  • 2. Double Claw Thrust: Jonas will lunge with both claws and slash at you with them. Shoot his head or eye to cancel this attack.
  • 3. Roar: A loud, ear-splitting roar that immobilizes you for a few moments, giving him the chance to lunge for an attack. Shake the control stick to break free from the daze.
  • 4. Grab and Impale: Jonas will grab your character with one claw and raise his other claws in preparation to impale you. Wiggle the control stick to break free, otherwise failing will result in an instant death.
  • 5. Tail Wrap: If you attempt to run behind Jonas, his tail will wrap around you and he will throw you backwards. Also, the eye along his back will eerily follow your every movement. The only way to avoid this it to shoot out his back eyeball.
  • 6. Claw Dive: If Jonas climbs to a higher level, he can sometimes dive down upon the players in an attempt to skewer with his claws. Simply avoiding or pressing the appropriate on-screen command will avoid this.
  • 7. Bite: Jonas can sometimes snap with his massive teeth. Sustains heavy damage.

STRATEGY

Jonas has now mutated into a stronger, faster killer. After the cut scene, Jonas will first begin by roaring and leaping around the room. He will attempt to first run you through with his claws, which you can shoot at his head to avoid taking damage. With little room to maneuver around, this battle can be quite a pain. Jonas' attacks can take heavy damage, but luckily, only one can outright kill you which can only happen if you get too close to him. His attacks should be canceled with the use of your shotgun for the moment.

After taking a significant amount of damage, Jonas will jump to a higher position, which means you have to avoid standing in the middle of the stairway as he can lash out with his tail. Simply avoid him for now as your attacks cannot hit him through the metal walkway.

After Jonas performs these moves, he will leap back down onto the player with his claws, which can be dodged with the appropriate command. His attacks are now more wild and untimely, which means you have to be quick at canceling them out. Once his health has dropped, he will scream and thus the battle will end.

BOSS FIGHT 12: ALEX PHASE 1Edit

Weak Point: Back

Major Weak Point: Head

Alex has 8 attacks:

  • 1. Teleport Punch: Alex will disappear in a manner similar to Wesker's and appear behind you. Failure to press the appropriate command will result in him punching you in the back. He will chuckle and disappear again if successful.
  • 2. Five-Punch Combo: Alex will deliver five lethal punches to your body which can send you into dying status if you fail to cancel the attack with the appropriate button sequences.
  • 3. Impale: Almost an exact replica of Wesker's move that can cause instant death, Alex will draw his hand back to shove it through your character's chest. If you fail to dodge, it's game over.
  • 4. Whirlwind Kick: Alex will spin around and deliver a kick that will knock you on your ass.
  • 5. Kick: If you stand too close, Alex will simply kick you, knocking you over.
  • 6. Cobra Strike: A blow that is similar to Wesker's which will slam into you and knock you back. Shake the control stick to recover quickly.
  • 7. Grab and Punch: Alex will grab your character by the throat and chuckle. Failing to shake free will result in him punching you and sending you flying several feet away.
  • 8. Blade Toss: In a rare moment, Alex will leap upward toward a large fan and grab one of the blades before tossing it down at you. Easily dodgeable, though if not, can put the player in the dying status.

STRATEGY

There's not much point in shooting Alex with your guns as he is fast enough to dodge them anyway. While he does not use weapons to fight, unlike Wesker with his handgun, Alex is the final boss and this makes him no less threatening. When drawing close to him, he uses powerful, close-combat moves that can be annoying and cause heavy damage. You can avoid these attacks by keeping your distance. He can jump from the battlefield and toward a catwalk which he will then grab a fan blade and throw it at you. One hit and it's game over. There is no ammunition to be found here, so it is best advised to collect what you can before the final boss battle. There is an Herb located behind one of the pillars though.

The best way to actually do damage to Alex is to hide behind the pillars and wait until he cannot see you to attack. The Magnum may be the best option as it can deal HEAVY damage to him. When he is hit, he will stumble slightly and utter a gasp which gives you the chance to do more damage while he has stopped. Do not waste ammo by trying to hit him TOO FAR AWAY because most of the time, you may miss.

BOSS FIGHT 13: ALEX PHASE 2 Edit

Weak Point: Wings

Major Weak Point: Head

Alex has 5 attacks:

  • 1. Continuous Flailing Wing Slash: Alex will spin rapidly through the air and slash with his wings. You can simply step aside to avoid the attack.
  • 2. Grab and Toss: Alex will roar, swoop down and grab your player, flying high and slashing with his claws before he throws you into the ground. This attack can render you into dying status. Luckily, it can be dodged.
  • 3. Slam Attack: Alex will dive down and slam his elbow into you. Press the dodge command on screen to avoid the attack.
  • 4. Grab: Alex will grab you with his tail and throw you into the ground. Does little damage, but can be annoying.
  • 5. Whirlwind: Alex will chuckle softly and perform a spinning move in the air and toward you that resembles a whirlwind. Can instantly kill you unless you avoid it.

STRATEGY

Be prepared for a pain-in-the-ass boss fight ever. He tends to stay in the air for the most part of this boss fight, which can make trying to shoot him very irritating. There is a pattern to his movements you will notice, though. He moves fast from left to right all around you, but he does take a brief moment to pause, right in front of the large, whirling fan to perform his attacks. His Continuous Flailing Wing Slash and Grab and Toss can be dodged easily, but his Whirlwind attack is hard to avoid because he performs this very fast. The trick is to wait for him to hover there, chuckle softly and run to the side before he can swoop down and kill you with it. His grab maneuver is the key to dealing damage to him as he moves in close to attack, giving you a chance to fire off rounds to cancel it out. Once weakened enough, he will laugh out and hover in front of the fan, which will end the battle.
